  1. Sale on Used Titleist & Mizuno Drivers, Fairways & Hybrids

    We are running a year-end sale on used Titleist and Mizuno drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. Used Titleist drivers $149, used Titleist fairways $109 and used Titleist hybrids $99. Used Mizuno drivers $139, used Mizuno fairways $99 and used Mizuno hybrids $89. Right- and left-handed in Titleist, right-handed only in Mizuno.

    We have some frost this morning. It’s going to be about 8:30 or so before the course opens for play.

  3. Hidden Meadows Members Win High School Awards

    Cole Daniel, Chris Kauppila and Lucas Shorette, all Hidden Meadows Golf Course members, and members of the Old Town High School Coyote varsity golf team, have been named to the Penobscot Valley Class B All Conference golf team.

    Additionally, the Penobscot Valley Conference has announced the All Conference, All Academic high school golfers for 2014. Ryan Wells, Justin O’Brien and Garry Morneault were named from the Orono Red Riots team. Andrew Moreira, Sam Segee and Darin Gardner were named from the Old Town Coyotes team.

    Congratulations to all of you for a job well done!

  4. Fall Rates in Effect; Titleist Drivers, Fairways & Hybrids on Sale

    We have our fall rates in place for the rest of the season. Golf with a cart is $20, and you can play all day. If you prefer to walk, it’s $15 to play all day.   5. New Bunkers Completed on #2

    The new bunkers have been completed on #2. From the white tees, it’s 242 yards to the front of the first bunker, 271 yards to carry the back of the third bunker. We have planted fescue on mounds of all three bunkers, so it will look a lot different once everything has grown in. The hole has been named ‘Hazen’s Beardies.’ Enjoy the new challenge everybody!newbunkers#2.1

  6. Hidden Meadows Members Compete at High School State Championship

    Hidden Meadows members participated in the Maine State High School Individual Boys & Girls Championships yesterday at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro. Kendall Ivey, who attends John Bapst High School, finished in 32nd place (out of 49), touring the Arrowhead course in 101 strokes. Cole Daniel, Alex Blackie and Darin Gardner, all from Old Town High School, shot 85, 93 and 99 respectively on the Tomahawk course. Congratulations to all four of you for your successful season!   7. Carts Okay This Afternoon; Fall Rates Kick In

    The rain has stopped and it’s unseasonably mild out today. We’ll be letting carts back out on the course beginning at 3 p.m. this afternoon. Our fall rates have now kicked in. $15 play all day for walkers. $20 play all day with a cart. The projected forecast is good through the end of the month!

  8. Old Town HS Varsity Golf Team Places 4th at State

    The Old Town High School varsity golf team capped off a successful 2014 season with a strong 4th place finish at the Maine High School Class B State Golf Championship this past Saturday.

    Led by sophomore Cole Daniel, the Coyotes toured the Tomahawk Course at Natanis in 338 strokes, finishing nine strokes behind third place MCI. Camden Hills won the Class B title with 313.2014HSStateTeam (more…)
