The course will be closed on Sunday afternoon, beginning at 2 p.m., for the Pi Kappa Phi Golf Tournament. The course will be open for play all morning, we just need to have it clear by 1:50 in the afternoon.
The Tuesday Morning Senior League will begin on Tuesday, May 17th. Starting time will be 9 a.m., so players should arrive around 8:30.
Members and non-members are encouraged to play. The fees for non-members is $10 for the golf. Everyone pays $5 each week for the league. $4 of that gets paid out in weekly prizes for gross and net scores, as well as for flag events. $1 per week is held back for the end of season fun day and food. We also run a league cart special for $5 per person.
This is a very relaxed league and is a lot of fun. It’s open to men and women ages 55+. If you have any questions, please call the pro shop at 207.827.4779.
Rand Trembley, the ‘Grand Poobah,’ runs the senior league for Hidden Meadows Golf Course. We are thankful for the great job he does!
We are going to have a small frost delay this morning. Best guess is 8 a.m. to get the course open. We are picking the driving range this morning, so it won’t be open until 9 a.m. But the pro shop is open right now, the coffee is fresh, and the pinball machines are fired up. It’s going to be a great day for golf today at Hidden Meadows!
Full speed ahead. Carts are on the course beginning today. 9-holes and a cart is $22, 18-holes and a cart is $32. We are also running a special: 2-people and a cart for 18-holes is $54, just $27 per person!
So come on out, bring a friend, enjoy 18-holes in the fresh spring air, then top off the day with your favorite beverage, a homemade sandwich and a couple of games on our new pinball machines.
It’s about as close to a perfect day as you can get.
Come check out the newest addition to the Hidden Meadows Pinball Arcade. It’s called ‘No Good Gofers,’ and it’s a blast to play. Bud and Buzz will scream insults at you while you play. This game features a hole-in-one shot that is often called the ‘greatest shot in pinball history.’
The high score is just shy of 60,000,000 points. We have one dozen ProV1 golf balls for the first person to break 60 million. It’s only 50 cents per game or 5 games for 2 bucks! Here’s a promotional video:

Hidden Meadows Golf Course

For instance, Christmas was a pretty big deal when I was a little kid. It’s taken on a different meaning now that I’m older, but when I was seven or eight years old, I was so excited about getting presents I couldn’t hardly get to sleep on Christmas Eve. It used to be the same for me when I was going to play in a state open or any big golf tournament. Continue reading →
