Congratulations to Old Town’s David ‘Ace’ Saucier. He made his first-ever hole-in-one on #8. He used a 6-iron to cover the 147 yard shot while playing partner’s Garry Spencer and John Lodge looked on. Way to go David!

Good luck to Cole Daniel today as he plays in the New England Championship at Bretwood Golf Course in New Hampshire. Cole finished tied for 3rd in the Maine State High School Boys Championship last fall, which qualified him for this event. He is the first golfer from Old Town High School to play in this tournament.
Our Tuesday Morning Senior League getting ready to hit the golf course this morning.
This league is open to men and women 55-older. It’s every Tuesday morning starting at 8:30. The cost is $10 for green fees, $5 for the weekly ‘game,’ and we have a cart special for $5 a seat.
The competition is gross and net scores, and the atmosphere of the league is very laid back. So if you are looking for something fun to do on Tuesday mornings, come on out and see us.
Congratulations to David Thibodeau and his guest Tom Harris for winning the 2016 Hidden Meadows Member/Guest Tournament. They shot a one-over-par 72, tying with the team of Alan Hussey and his guest Steve Smith. Thibodeau and Harris won on the countback with a birdie on #18.

Happy Birthday George! And what better way to spend your 90th birthday than out playing golf. We offered George a free cart for his birthday, and he said ‘nah, I’d rather walk.’
George, we hope you have a wonderful birthday today. Thank you for sharing it with us at the golf course.
The Monday Night Scramble has been canceled tonight due to rain. We will resume next Monday!
