Carts are a ‘go’ on the course now

Everything is good to go with the carts. The course absorbed the (much needed) rain and it’s an absolutely great day for golf at Hidden Meadows! Monday night scramble starts at 5:30 tonight. The draw is at 5:25. $10 green fees, $5 carts, $5 to enter the scramble. That’s a lotta fun for 20 bucks!

OTHS Golf Team Tryouts Begin Monday, August 15th

Practice for the Old Town High School golf team begins Monday, August 15th. There are no cuts, so no matter what your skill level, come on out and give it a try. There is a parents-student athletes-coaches sports meeting at the high school on Thursday, August 11th at 6 p.m. in the main gym.

Old Town won the Penobscot Valley Conference Championship in 2015, and finished second in state. This is a chance to challenge yourself and be part of something special.

If you are interested in being on the team, contact coach Joe Perdue at Hidden Meadows Golf Course, 207.827.4779. If you are new to the school district or an incoming freshman, you must get a physical before you will be able to practice with the team. Continue reading
